This is a blog about 12 Step Recovery Speakers. I try to link the cooresponding speaker to a recording so that you can easily find them. I try not to be too punitive towards any speaker cause its just their story but as you know some just have a better delivery. I try to listen to content vs the style.

Marc K • Alanon Speaker • Studio City
12 Step Recovery is 12 Step Recovery - I wouldn't classify myself as a double winner but I could be. I went with a friend to the double winner meeting in the valley off of Laurel Canyon HUGE Alanon/AA meeting - two speaker, one from each fellowship - powerful. As I get older in recovery I seem to have less "God Shocks"! Then I used when I had less time, or maybe I am just less aware of them. But I got a good shot two friday's ago, listening to Alanon speaker Marc K. deliver a shot across my bow. Instantly I was putting myself in my parents shoes realizing (as I have many time before) how much they loved me to let me hit bottom. My fellowship preferences vary because of politics and controversy, but my love for a good message will never change.
Mickey B. • AA Speaker • CA Speaker • Santa Monica
Legendary circuit speaker! I'm sure everyone has heard of Mickey B. I like listening to old stuff, his early day recordings have always left me with inspiration and encouragement about how not to beat myself up about how sick I am. His testimonies have always been comedic and full of "read between the lines" messages. It's like a hot fudge sundae, always a great after taste. I was listening to a recording that was done by him and Johnny S. (Founding Member of CA) on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Step. The two of them beat Joe and Charlie hands down. The two of them banter back and forth, like to old friends who trudged the road together. Bot very charismatic I enjoyed it immensely.
Patrick P. • CA Speaker • Santa Monica
Patrick P. is a CA Speaker from Santa Monica, I recently caught a recording of him in Paris at the only CA meeting in Paris. It was pretty cool, they had a french translator translating while he gave his testimony. Great message, talk about keeping it simple and to the point. From what I understand XA Speakers doesn't have his recordings but you can obtain a copy of the Paris talk, or the CA UK Area Convention 18 where he was the Main Speaker from Rule62 Recordings Paul Mears, PaulMears@rule62audio.com -
Incidentally, Paul also has a huge collection of European Speaker largely from United Kingdom.

Danny F. • CA Speaker • Oklahoma City
Danny F. from Oklahoma is amazing. When you see him you think, Witness Protection Program? His message is truly strong, offers a fantastic description of the steps and how they have truly changed his life. Danny F. CA Speaker.
Bryan K. • NA Speaker
Bryan K is strong NA speaker with a lot to offer to any member. In this particular testimony he just cuts through the process, it was a great pitch and I really enjoyed it. Bryan K NA Speaker
Adam T • AA Speaker • CA Speaker • NA Speaker • Los Angeles
Adam T. is a dynamic speaker no matter what the venue or the size of the group. Adam T. is more than capable of entertaining while also delivering a powerful message. I listened to this latest recording and found the message impressive and captivating. The message of recovery for Adam T is centered on his profound understanding of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, his relationship with the book and the traditions. His experience of over 20 years of serious drinking and drug addiction is the captivation. Adam T has this ability to draw you in, hold you tight and not let go till the message has been reached. And the giving keeps on coming. Unlike some cliche' based speakers, Adam T. jokes are hilarious. He uses himself as the brunt, as we all know if we can't laugh at ourselves we're taking ourselves too seriously and Adam T. definitely doesn't take himself too serious. He's a great speaker and very humble guy.
